The centre of Garboldisham,
approximately one mile from the lodges, has a Post Office and well stocked village store,
which has a superb selection of Anglia Gourmet local produce, with
everything from herbs to organic pies and Suffolk cyder. There is
also the Fox Inn public house - unfortunately the
pub is "between owners" at the moment but there are other
excellent hostelries nearby.
There are hard tennis courts and a children's play area on the Recreation Ground.
During the season, given enough notice we can even arrange for visitors to play in the village cricket team!
